Making Bible Study a Priority in Life

18 Discipleship Lessons

The definition of the word disciple is: a follower or student of a teacher, or leader. We are all followers or students of someone. As young children, we followed and learned from our parents, as we grew, we followed and learned from our teachers at school. But when we became adults, things changed, we began to be the teacher, our children followed and learned from us lessons we learned from our teachers on on how to live and work.

When you become a Christian, the Bible says you are "Born Again"(John 3:3; 1 Peter 1:23). As any new born child, the New Christian needs to grow, to get strong, learn, and become an adult.

The Christian life, just like the physical life is a process:

Colossians 1:10-11 - That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

The Following are a group of discipleship lessons that were developed by my church to teach new Christians and bring the basics to the remembrance of the older Christian. You can take the lessons in any order you want, but I believe that you get more from them if you take them in order, especially if you are a new Believer. If you have any questions regarding ANY of the lessons, please feel free to email me at this address: Bible Break or go to the contact page on this site.
